Paid TikTok campaign standards
Creator Guidelines
These rules apply to every ViralWave campaign. A campaign brief may add stricter requirements.
Use the approved sound
Open the official sound from the campaign room and use that sound for the submitted post. Do not substitute another upload. If you add any music or third-party material beyond the campaign sound, you are responsible for having permission to use it.
Disclose paid content clearly
Enable TikTok's content disclosure setting for compensated posts and follow the exact disclosure instructions in the brief. Use clear words such as “ad” or “sponsored” when required; do not hide the disclosure after a long caption or among unrelated hashtags.
Publish authentic posts
Posts must be original, 8 to 60 seconds long, published by your verified TikTok account, and consistent with the brief. Do not buy views, use bots, recycle another creator's post, make false claims, or submit the same video more than once.
Keep approved posts live
Approved posts must remain public. Tracking outages or ambiguous checks never count as deletion. Repeated confirmed missing results go to staff review, and restoration clears the flag.
Be safe and respectful
Follow TikTok's rules and applicable law. Do not include hate, harassment, dangerous activity, sexual exploitation, illegal products, private information, or content that puts another person at risk.
When unsure
Ask ViralWave Support before posting. Staff can clarify the brief, disclosure wording, or official sound without risking a rejected submission.
